Plan Name:
National Electrical 401(k) Plan
EIN:
26-3383611
Plan Identification No.:
001
Plan Year:
January 1 to December 31
Type of Plan:
The Plan is a "defined contribution plan". Under a "defined contribution plan," all contributions you make to the plan or that are made on your behalf are held in an account that is invested on your behalf. When you retire, your retirement benefit from the plan will be based on the value of your account (including investment earnings and losses) at the time distribution is made to you.
The Plan is also a "401(k) plan". Under a "401(k) plan", you may elect to have Tax-Deferred Contributions made to the plan from your pay. These Tax-Deferred Contributions are not included in your taxable compensation for the year in which you contribute them to the plan. Instead, they are taxable when they are distributed to you from the plan. For more information see Your Account.
The Plan is also intended to be a "404(c) plan". Under a "404(c) plan", you may select the investments for all or a portion of your Account under the plan. For the accounts over which you control investments, fiduciaries who would otherwise be responsible for assuring that your account is invested appropriately are relieved of responsibility for your investment choices. For more information, see 404(c) Protection.
